“BUT NEVER QUESTION…”
“You will want to dismiss this. You will want to call it replacement theology, anti-Semitism, the product of a troubled mind. I wanted to dismiss it too. But the dates kept aligning. The money kept tracing. The patterns kept repeating. And the wars have not stopped. In 1909, Oxford University Press published the Scofield Reference Bible. One wealthy political fixer funded it. One systematic theology emerged. One hundred years later, the American Christian cheers foreign wars that bankrupt the nation, blesses political interests that ensure its displacement, and awaits a rapture that empties the cradle. This is not about Jewish people. This is about a specific system that restructured the Christian mind to serve ends explicitly anti-Christian. The footnotes became Scripture. The charts became reality. The deception is elegant: no conspiracy of millions, only one well-funded Bible edition, one framework, and time. The system is the target. The system must be dismantled.”
THE INVENTION: DISPENSATIONALISM AS STRATEGIC DECEPTION
“What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Except Zionism. Two thousand years ago, it had no name. Five thousand years ago, it had no form. It is novel. I wish it never was.”
The Virus in the Software
In 1909, Oxford University Press published the first Scofield Reference Bible. The project was funded by Samuel Untermeyer, a prominent Zionist attorney and political fixer. The theological system it introduced, dispensationalism, would reshape American Christianity more completely than any revival, more thoroughly than any Supreme Court decision. It was not organic growth. It was strategic injection.
As I write this, the wars have not stopped. The munitions are depleted. The Saudi Crown Prince calls twice and is refused. The diesel inventory shows 24 days remaining. The 30-year Treasury yield has broken 5.34%. The Axial Seamount stirs. Campi Flegrei produces its strongest earthquake in 50 years. And American Christians, trained by Scofield’s footnotes, cheer for the very geopolitical machinery that ensures their nation’s collapse, believing they serve prophecy.
I come to this analysis reluctantly. Jonathan Cahn has dismantled dispensationalism’s theological foundations. Steven Ben-Nun has exposed its political machinery. I have nothing to add to their scholarship except this observation: the system functions not merely as bad theology, but as comprehensive psychological architecture. It does not just misinterpret Scripture. It restructures the Christian mind to serve ends that are explicitly anti-Christian.
The deception is elegant in its construction. It required no conspiracy of millions. It required only one well-funded Bible edition, one systematic theology, and time. The footnotes became Scripture. The charts became reality. The future became fantasy. And the American Christian, instead of being salt and light in his own nation, became a cheerleader for foreign wars that bankrupt his country and theological positions that ensure his own cultural displacement.
This is not about Jewish people. This is about a specific theological system, funded by specific political actors, introduced at a specific historical moment, that achieved specific strategic objectives. The distinction matters. The system is the target. The system must be named. The system must be dismantled.
The Esoteric Parallel
The dispensationalist structure mirrors ancient Gnosticism with precision that suggests common origin rather than coincidence. Both systems operate through the same five mechanisms:
First, secret knowledge available only to initiates. The dispensationalist claims special insight into “prophetic timetables” inaccessible to ordinary believers who merely read Scripture without Scofield’s charts. The Gnostic claimed secret knowledge (gnosis) that elevated him above Christians who merely trusted the plain text. Both create spiritual hierarchy through information control.
Second, dualistic cosmology dividing reality into irreconcilable realms. The Gnostic separated spirit (good) from matter (evil). The dispensationalist separates Israel (earthly, promised) from the Church (heavenly, parenthetical). Both deny the unity of God’s redemptive work. Both create parallel tracks that never converge.
Third, divided soteriology based on category rather than faith. The Gnostic saved the spiritual man while abandoning the material. The dispensationalist saves the Church by rapture while requiring Israel to endure tribulation. Both systems make salvation’s mechanism depend on identity rather than grace.
Fourth, revelation that “corrects” the original message. The Gnostic gospels claimed to reveal what Jesus “really” taught. The Scofield footnotes claim to reveal what the prophets “really” meant. Both position themselves as necessary intermediaries between the text and the reader.
Fifth, practical result: disengagement from present reality. The Gnostic, convinced matter was evil, withdrew from ethical responsibility in the material world. The dispensationalist, convinced the present age is parenthetical, withdraws from cultural and political responsibility in his own nation. Both achieve the same end: neutralized Christianity.
Strategic Purpose
It was not random theological innovation. It was a systematic program to neutralize American Christianity's cultural and political influence across six generations, operating through six subroutines:
Subroutine One: Eschatological Paralysis. By convincing believers that history’s conclusion is predetermined, imminent, and requires their passive observation rather than active resistance, the system eliminates Christian political engagement. Why fight cultural collapse when collapse triggers the rapture? The result: American Christians abandon the public square precisely when it is most contested.
Subroutine Two: Foreign Policy Capture. By identifying modern political Israel with biblical Israel, the system makes American foreign policy hostage to foreign interests. The Christian cannot question wars that bankrupt his nation, because those wars serve “prophecy.” The result: American blood and treasure expended for ends that harm America.
Subroutine Three: Military Exhaustion. By cheering endless Middle Eastern wars, dispensationalist Christianity ensures the depletion of American military capacity. The munitions are not replaced. The young men do not return.
Subroutine Four: Economic Bleeding. By supporting sanctions, wars, and foreign aid flows that drain the Treasury, the system ensures American economic collapse. The Christian cheers as his own nation’s infrastructure crumbles, because prophecy requires it.
Subroutine Five: Generational Alienation. By associating Christianity with militarism, with unquestioning support of foreign nations, with absurd date-setting and failed predictions, the system ensures that each generation finds the faith less credible than the last. The youth depart not because the Gospel is untrue, but because the Gospel has been made indistinguishable from political propaganda.
Subroutine Six: Symbolic Inversion. By convincing Christians that the modern political state is the fulfillment of biblical promise, the system achieves the ultimate substitution: the earthly Jerusalem replaces the heavenly Jerusalem, the temporal promise replaces the eternal inheritance, and the Christian finds himself serving the very forces that intend his elimination.
The result is visible in the present moment: American Christianity has been emptied of cultural influence precisely when that influence was most needed. The church buildings stand, but the civilization they were meant to leaven has been surrendered. The Christian, trained by Scofield’s footnotes, finds himself politically homeless, economically exhausted, militarily depleted, and eschatologically paralyzed, cheering for the very machinery of his own displacement.
Chuck Colson and the “Bless Israel” Theology
Charles W. Colson, Nixon’s former “hatchet man” who experienced a genuine conversion to Christianity and founded Prison Fellowship, exemplifies how even sincere believers can propagate theological errors when those errors are embedded in their cultural DNA. In his 1987 bestseller Kingdoms in Conflict, a book now difficult to obtain in full-text form, Colson presents a fictional White House scenario in which President Hopkins, a born-again Christian elected on a “Christian ticket,” faces a crisis over the rebuilding of the Temple in Jerusalem. In a revealing passage (page 51), Colson depicts Hopkins quoting “the Bible from memory” to argue that “America’s great blessings were linked to its protection of the Jews.” While Colson never directly misquotes Genesis 12:3 as “I will bless those who bless Israel,” the theology pervades the narrative. The Abrahamic promise is “inverted” from blessing Abraham personally to blessing the modern nation-state, and American foreign policy is framed as a test of divine favor. Colson was not malicious; he was a product of Scofieldism, the dispensationalist framework that dominated mid-20th century American evangelicalism. This author can testify from personal experience: I read this book, and I was duped too. I internalized its framework, memorized its arguments, and measured nations by their treatment of Israel. Yet his influential book helped cement in the evangelical imagination the idea that uncritical support for Israel is a prerequisite for national blessing, a theology that cannot account for historical realities such as the USS Liberty attack (1967), where Israeli forces killed 34 American servicemen. The “bless Israel” heresy, propagated by good men who were simply “duped” by a theological system they never examined critically, continues to distort American foreign policy and evangelical political engagement to this day. The correction is found in the plain text that dispensationalism’s footnotes obscure.
Biblical Correction
Hebrews 8:6-13 announces the New Covenant, explicitly stating that the Old Covenant is “obsolete” and “ready to vanish away.” The author, writing to Hebrew believers, identifies the Church as the true heir of the covenant promises, not a parenthetical interruption of them.
Hebrews 12:18-24 contrasts Mount Sinai (earthly, terrifying, temporary) with Mount Zion (heavenly, joyful, eternal), explicitly identifying the Church as “the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven.” The earthly Jerusalem is not the goal. It is the shadow. The heavenly Jerusalem is the reality.
Romans 9-11, often cited as dispensationalism’s foundation, actually dismantles it. Paul grieves for his Jewish brethren “according to the flesh,” but clarifies that “they are not all Israel who are of Israel.” The true Israel is defined not by ethnicity but by faith: “For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter.”
Romans 11:17-24 presents the olive tree: Gentile believers are “grafted in” to the same tree that held the patriarchs. Not a separate tree. Not a parenthetical tree. The same tree. “You do not support the root, but the root supports you.” The Gentile Christian does not bless the Jew. The faithful remnant, Jew and Gentile together, are blessed by the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Galatians 3:28-29 destroys the two-people theology entirely: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Not two seeds. Not two peoples. Not two tracks. One seed. One people. One inheritance.
The biblical correction is this: God has one people, the Church, composed of believing Jews and believing Gentiles, the fulfillment of the promise to Abraham that “in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” The earthly Jerusalem is not the fulfillment. It is not the goal. It is not the prize. The heavenly Jerusalem is. The dispensationalist has traded the substance for the shadow, the eternal for the temporal, the Spirit for the letter. The correction requires nothing less than the complete dismantling of the two-people framework and the restoration of the one-tree, one-people, one-promised-land theology that Paul preached.
Three Responses to the Correction
When the correction is presented, I have identified three responses among those trained in dispensationalism. They correspond to the three responses to truth throughout Scripture.
The first response: The Foolish Virgins. These have built their entire identity, their eschatological framework, their political commitments, and their social networks on the dispensationalist system. When the correction is presented, they have no oil in their lamps. They cannot process the information. They become hostile, not because they have examined the Scripture and found the correction wrong, but because the correction threatens their social and psychological architecture. They will miss the wedding feast.
The second response: The Presumptuous. These acknowledge that dispensationalism may be error, but they presume upon grace. They continue in the same political commitments, the same foreign policy cheerleading, the same passive eschatology, believing that their sincerity will cover their continued participation in systems they now know to be false. They are like those Paul describes in Romans 1:32, who “know the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”
The third response: The Wise. These examine the Scripture with the Berean spirit. They discover that the correction is true. They repent of the error. They dismantle the theological architecture that supported political commitments contrary to the Gospel. They recognize that the American Christian’s first loyalty is to the American Christian’s own nation, people, and civilization, not to foreign political projects dressed in biblical costume. They understand that the Gospel is for the Jew first and also for the Greek, but that political Israel is not biblical Israel, and that the modern state’s actions must be judged by the same moral standards as any other nation’s actions.
The wise understand that the correction is not merely theological. It is practical. It requires the American Christian to withdraw support from the machinery of his own displacement. It requires him to recognize that the same forces that funded the Scofield Bible, that introduced dispensationalism, that captured American foreign policy, that emptied the cradle of Christian cultural influence, are the forces that intend his ultimate elimination. The correction requires him to see the continuity between the theological deception and the political deception, and to resist both.
But the refining fire reveals not only theological error. It exposes the legal trap being set for those who would resist. The refining fire shows the mechanism by which resistance will be criminalized, the framework by which truth-telling becomes capital offense, the system by which the same deception that captured the theology will now capture the law.
The Synagogue of Satan and the Legal Trap
Revelation 2:9 and 3:9 record Jesus’ words to the churches: “I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.” The distinction is critical. Jesus acknowledges that some claim Jewish identity falsely, that their synagogue is not of God but of Satan, and that their claim to Abraham’s heritage is blasphemous.
The dispensationalist, trained by Scofield, cannot process this text. His system requires him to bless all who claim Jewish identity, regardless of their actions, their theology, or their hostility to Christ. He cannot see that Jesus Himself distinguishes between the true Jew (inwardly, by faith) and the false Jew (outwardly, by claim alone).
This blindness has prepared him for the final trap. Public Law 102-14, passed by Congress in 1991 and signed by President George H.W. Bush, established the “Seven Noahide Laws” as the “foundation of American civilization.” The law is ceremonial in form but deadly in substance. The Noahide Laws, derived from Talmudic tradition rather than Scripture, include prohibitions against “blasphemy” and “idolatry” that are defined by rabbinic authorities, not by biblical text.
The trap is this: under Noahide Law, the claim that Jesus is the Messiah is “blasphemy” and “idolatry” punishable by decapitation. The Talmud (Sanhedrin 56a-60b) establishes these penalties. The dispensationalist, trained to bless all things Jewish, does not recognize that he has endorsed a legal framework that criminalizes his own faith.
President Trump, who claims conversion to Christianity (claims persist; unverified, though he puts on yarmulke, prays at Western Wall, signs onto Noahide laws), hosted 14 Chabad-Lubavitch rabbis in the Oval Office on September 3, 2026. The meeting included the anti-Zionist Satmar sect, yes, but also representatives of the Chabad movement that promotes Noahide Law globally. The rabbis presented Trump with a silver tzedakah box honoring Education and Sharing Day, commemorating the Noahide Laws. The President who claims Christian identity renewed the proclamation establishing those laws as foundational to American civilization.
The synagogue of Satan is not ethnic. It is theological. It is those who claim Abraham’s heritage while rejecting Abraham’s God, who claim Moses’ authority while rejecting Moses’ Messiah, who build legal frameworks that criminalize the Gospel itself. The dispensationalist, trained by Scofield to bless without discernment, has endorsed his own elimination.
The legal trap is nearly complete. When the American Christian finally awakens to his displacement, he will find that the law he supported, the foreign policy he cheered, the theological system he defended, have constructed the gallows on which he will hang. The Noahide Laws, established by the Congress he elected, signed by the presidents he supported, celebrated by the rabbis he blessed, will be used to decapitate him as a “blasphemer” and “idolater” for claiming Jesus as Messiah.
This is not speculation. This is the logical conclusion of the system he has supported. The Scofield Bible led to dispensationalism. Dispensationalism led to uncritical support of Israeli political interests. That support led to the establishment of Noahide Law in American jurisprudence. Noahide Law defines Christianity as capital offense. The trap is complete. The Christian, trained to bless without discernment, will be devoured by the system he blessed.
Conclusion
The analysis is not comfortable. It requires the American Christian to acknowledge that he has been deceived, that his theological system was designed to neutralize him, that his political commitments have served foreign interests against his own, and that the legal framework being constructed will criminalize his faith.
But acknowledgment is the beginning of wisdom. The correction is available. The Scripture is clear. The one-people theology of Paul, the heavenly Jerusalem of Hebrews, the olive tree of Romans, dismantles the dispensationalist architecture entirely.
The American Christian must choose: the foolish virgins’ hostility, the presumptuous continuation in known error, or the wise repentance that rebuilds on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.
The time is short. The diesel inventory shows 24 days. The Treasury yield has broken 5.34%. The Saudi pipeline is severed. The munitions are depleted. The Axial Seamount stirs. Campi Flegrei shakes. The legal trap is set. And the American Christian, if he will be saved, must abandon the deception that has neutralized him, must recognize the synagogue of Satan for what it is, must resist the Noahide framework that criminalizes his faith, and must rebuild his theological and political architecture on the solid rock of Scripture, not on the shifting sands of Scofield’s footnotes.
This requires courage. It requires the willingness to be called anti-Semitic for making distinctions that Scripture itself makes. It requires the willingness to be called unpatriotic for questioning foreign policy that Scripture does not command. It requires the willingness to stand alone, if necessary, against the entire edifice of American Christian Zionism, and to say: here I stand, I can do no other, God help me.
The alternative is the empty cradle of Christian civilization, the Christian neutralized, his nation bankrupted, his faith criminalized, his head on the block, wondering how it came to this.
It came to this because he would not read the plain text. Because he trusted footnotes over Scripture. Because he blessed what he should have tested. Because he allowed a 1909 Oxford edition, funded by a political fixer, to restructure his mind.
The correction is available. The ark is being built. The lunch is being packed. The grain is being stored. The oil is in the lamps. The wedding feast approaches.
Not yet. But soon. Very soon. Maranatha.
Peace be with you.

It won't be long until a lot of very disappointed dispensationalists will have to deal with the truth of these matters. Thanks for another well written and researched article !
Thank you for articulating the conclusions that I came to years ago, with much more clarity than I achieved. In addition, you informed me of some things I did not know, specifically the Noahide Laws.
